Small groups of health professionals meeting to discuss and share their practice.
Why come along?
Clinical supervision is recognised as a supportive way to facilitate learning from experiences for nurses. Discussing clinical practice in a safe & confidential environment encourages reflective practice, improves competence & quality of care.
Who should be involved?
Any nurses working in primary care that would find discussions with other nurses valuable.
Clinical supervision was trialled at portfolio courses run in 2011. The feedback was fantastic so we have decided to run regular sessions for Primary Care Nurses.

NEW ZEALAND WOUND CARE SOCIETY EDUCATION SESSIONS
The New Zealand Wound Care Society Inc (NZWCS) is a voluntary organisation made up of health care professionals from a variety of disciplines who share a common interest in wound management. As an organisation it gives its members an opportunity to share experience, expertise and knowledge providing a forum to network with other members throughout the country.
The society will be running education sessions facilitated by area co-ordinator & committee member Prue Lennox
